We are looking for an optical retail assistant / receptionist to join or Monaghan town team to cover Maternity leave from Dec 2012 till June 2013 . 

 

 

We are a family run Opticians with a history of providing care to the people of Monaghan and its environs for almost 100 years . We have 2 stores , one on Dawson Street in Monaghan town and one on Main Street in Carrick . 

 

We combine the care and confidentiality of the medical aspects of eyecare with the fashion and fun of eyewear with the convenience and accessibility of locality . 

 

 

You are confident with excellent communication skills , good eye for style and fashion and proud of your self image . You will ideally have experience in dealing directly with the public on a face to face basis and be able to work and learn from an experienced team . You will be happy to be involved in all aspects of the business from taking appointments , recording information in an accurate and confidential manner , to advising people on frame styles to suit them and even happy to make the odd cuppa or lift a brush or duster .

 

Hours will be Tuesday to Saturday 9.15 - 5.30 with flexible lunchtimes . 

 

Salary will be €18,200 p. a.  (pro rata)
