For almost a century, Ronaghan Optician of Monaghan and Carrickmacross have been providers of quality eyecare for the people of county Monaghan.

Peter Ronaghan began the tradition when he opened his Chemist and Optical Practice. His sons, Lorcan and Peader followed in his footsteps, Peader concentrating on the pharmacy and Lorcan following in the optical.

Lorcans son, Tiarnach, qualified as an Ophthalmic Optician in 1993. He moved to London in 1994, working with Dolland and Aitcheson Opticians in their flagship Oxford Street and Regent Street practices. He also gained valuable experience with Optimax Laser clinics, at that time the largest providers of laser corrective surgery in the UK.
In 1999 he returned to Ireland to where he continues the tradition of quality local eyecare to this day.
